About Eddy A. Lopez & Linea Art & Design
Born in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, during the chaos of the Sandinista revolution and raised in the sprawling suburbs of Miami, I am an artist/designer who strongly believes in the power of simplicity in design and the sophistication that can be found in the delicate balancing act between type and image. Linea Art+Design is my design studio.
With close to two decades of experience, I’ve directed and managed projects for a variety of clients, from small non-profits to multinational organizations, on projects across the gamut of the discipline, from editorial, informational, to promotional design, in freelance and in-house positions.
Currently, I’m a full-time lecturer in art and design at the University of Miami. At the same time, I manage freelance projects, maintain a practice as an exhibiting artist, and take my dog, Vincent, out for walks.
